Ideas
After the photography exam. We we're given a task to create a game that is based around photography. We we're told that we need to include aspects of other games.
Me and Emma paired up. We thought of a game where, you roll a dice, you move. Then you roll a colour dice. Whatever colour you land on, you must pick a card from that colour category. For example land on red, pick a red card [Photography techniques]. If you say the wrong answer, go back to where you were. This game would also have an aspect of Monopoly to it. The aspect would be if you land on a certain spot, you will have to pick up a flash card. These flash cards could contain positive things like "took a set of sports photos, all in focus, move forward 2 steps". They can also have negatives like "Attempted macro photography, could get any photos, move back 3 spaces". This is basically the equivalent of the Community Chest and Chance cards in Monopoly. The way to win the game is simply to get to the last step. That way, you have completed the 'Photographers Journey'. So this game is sought of a combination of rule from Monopoly and Snakes & Ladders.

Experimenting
Below is a bunch of dies that me and Emma made for when we were deciding what dice we should use for our game. We also focused on continuation
Counters
For the counters, I'm currently stuck behind 2 choices. I can either have counters with different pieces of photography equipment on them. So for example, tripod or a DSLR or a film camera etc.
My 2nd choice for the counters is individual photographers. So there could be one counter with the face of Man Ray, one counter with the face of Uta Barth, one with the face of Henri Cartier-Bresson etc.
