How Shutter Speeds effects an image
In this typology. I'm aiming to show how Shutter speeds can affect the lighting of an image. Shutter speed sounds like something that is really tough to understand, however it is easier than it sounds. There are 2 plates in the camera in front of the 45 degrees mirror which is in front of the sensor. When you have a slower shutter speed i.e. 1/4 the gap between the 2 plates will be bigger. However the faster shutter speed i.e. 1/4000, the gap between the 2 plates is much smaller. This determines how much light is let in. This is done by light entering in through the plate and hitting the sensor, the smaller the gap, the less light can hit the sensor. [video at the bottom will sum it up better]
