Researching 1000 image photographers

The first thing I did was watch the video above. This is a video of someone who isn't a photographer. This person is a ceramic artist called Edmund de Waal, he sculptured pots and he had to make 1000 pots, it wasn't something he was very interested in doing he invested his own time to make these 1000 pots. This video made me think, if me has the motivation to make something 1000 times. Surely I can take 1000 photos of something.

This is a second video I looked at. This man was serious motivation to me for this H/W. The reason why is because Luke Stephenson took a photo of every single cornflake he had in just 1 box. This resulted to 7122! images. Once again he did it because he invested his time into this.

This is my homework. I'm first going to prove that this contains 1000 images. This video is 53 seconds long and this is 24 fps. So 53 [seconds] x 24 [fps] = 1272 images.
I decided to do a time lapse for 2 reasons. Firstly time lapses are a contrast because they are showing something changing over an amount of time. In this case, the clouds changing over the space of a couple of hours.
The second reason I did a time lapse was because I felt it would be too hard to take 1000 images, also it will be very hard to display them. Also you can't fully realise the contrast in just looking at a collage. You have to watch these images as a video. I believe this relates to contrast because the definition of contrast is "the state of being strikingly different from something else". This time lapse shows hows the skyline out side my house changes. This video could potentially show a contrast in form. A form of manmade and natural made because we are seeing cars moving that are fully made by people. We also see the movement of the trees branches, that is only partially made be people.

When I woke up on a Saturday morning, I set up the camera, the tripod and the Neewer timer in my parents room, looking out the window, in the direction of Blackheath. I decided to take photos every 10 seconds, however next time I'm going to take photos every 20 or 30 seconds. The reason why is because the bigger the interval, the longer the time lapse, the longer the time lapse, the more on offer.
